Otopair is coming to Brooklyn.

Fixed-price repair from verified independent shops, booked from your phone. Staten Island is first; Brooklyn is next.

What opens in Brooklyn on day one.

The same product Staten Island gets first: Oto, verified shops with the price for your job, and a total that is locked before the car goes in.

My brakes squeak when I slow down, mostly first thing in the morning.
Does it fade after a few stops, or stay the whole drive?

A squeal that fades as the brakes warm up is usually the wear indicator on the pads. Your last brake service on file is 18 months ago, so I'd scope a brake pad replacement and let the shop confirm it on the lift.

For drivers

You tell Oto what your car is doing. Oto turns that into a scoped job, shows you verified shops nearby with the price for your job, and locks the price when you book. A $20 hold reserves the slot; the locked price is what you pay, and any extra work has to be approved by you in the app first.

Staten Island is the first market. Until Brooklyn opens, a Brooklyn driver will be able to book a Staten Island shop.

For Brooklyn repair shops

Applications are open now, and Brooklyn shops that join ahead of opening are the ones live on opening day. Otopair sends booked, pre-diagnosed customers at a price you set, runs payment through Stripe, and charges no subscription and no setup fee.

Questions Brooklyn drivers ask.

When does Otopair launch in Brooklyn?
Next, on the current plan. A borough opens to drivers once enough verified shops are on the network to book from, not on a marketing date. Leave your email on the waitlist and the team will write when the first Brooklyn shops open.
Can I use Otopair in Brooklyn today?
Not yet. Otopair opens in Staten Island first, where shops are onboarding now. Booking in Brooklyn opens with the first verified Brooklyn shops.
